If this is your first time navigating maternity healthcare services the many important decisions around labor and birth, breastfeeding and adjusting to your new life can seem daunting and at times overwhelming. I’m here to help you and your partner to spend more time enjoying your pregnancy and less time stressing about what’s ahead.

You may be wondering:

What can I do to have the most straightforward labor possible?
Are there ways I can avoid an unnecessary cesarean? An epidural? An episiotomy or tearing?
Is it possible to experience a pregnancy birth and early parenting experience that brings my partner and I even closer together as a couple?
Will breastfeeding and adjusting to being a mom come naturally to me and if it doesn’t what resources and expert help can I access support my baby and I in those intense weeks after birth?

There’s no doubt that planning a positive empowering birth takes a little work. But as the saying goes nothing worth having comes easy. A healthy, safe empowered birth doesn’t usually happen by accident. Yes birth can be unpredictable so we’ll work closely together to stack the odds in your favor of having the birth of your dreams.

My extensive experience in birth support and education can guide you to your goal of a healthy, safe positive birth.

As a hospital trained midwife, lactation educator and birth doula I enjoy working closely with parents to help you have the safest, healthiest positive experience possible no matter what kind of birth you’re planning. I have two boys (16 & 9) and live in Round Rock, TX. I also teach breastfeeding and childbirth classes for Sutter Health.

I’m the Founder of GentleBirth, the pregnancy brain training App and program for birth, that will build your confidence and reduce your fear as the big day approaches.
